DaNCINGšBaND is both an artwork and a practice ā a professional method for cultivating attention, relational intelligence, and presence through guided movement. Each loop band is a small architecture of care, inviting awareness, empathy and trust through a collective embodied learning method between participants.
These Terms & Conditions provide a clear and respectful framework so that the artistic, embodied, and professional aspects of the work can unfold safely. By purchasing the aratowrk and practice participating in DaNCINGšBaND, you agree to these terms.
1. The Nature of BaBYBaNDāDaNCE
DaNCINGšBaND is a choreographic artwork and participatory movement practice developed by me (artist, dancer, choreographer and researcher Margarita Zafrilla Olayo). Each box contains 13 handcrafted elastic loop bands made from natural rubber latex. These are intended for gentle, guided movement among pairs and groups, for personal and profesional learning contexts, and are not fitness, therapeutic or medical devices.
2. Intended Use
- Use DaNCINGšBaND for guided relational or creative sessions led by me or trained facilitators.
- Do not use them for strength training, conditioning, or beyond-natural-range stretching.
- Ensure a safe, clear space for participants and maintain professional standards of care.
- The practice is designed for adult participants in leadership, coaching, educational, comunity, and or artistic settings.
3. Health, Safety & Responsibility
Participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk. Attend to your body and your limits. Refrain from participating if you have medical conditions that could be affected by movement, touch, or latex exposure.
Natural rubber latex can cause allergic reactions in some people. Handle the bands gently, avoid overstretching, and do not use damaged bands. Neither me nor facilitators can be held liable for injuries, allergic reactions, or adverse effects resulting from use or misuse.
4. Training Session
Each purchase includes one live training session with me or trained facilitators appointed by me.
The session introduces foundational principles, safety guidelines, and facilitation methods to support responsible integration of the practice into professional contexts.
Sessions may be recorded with prior mutual consent. Training must be scheduled on the same day of handlening the box of purchase unless otherwise arranged.
5. Intellectual Property
DaNCINGšBaND ā including its name, designs, methods, images, and facilitation language ā is original and protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
Purchase grants a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials and practife in your professional or educational work. It does not grant permission to reproduce, teach, or distribute the practice under another name.
Please credit DaNCINGšBaND and artist, dancer and choreographer Margarita Zafrilla Olayo in any professional and personal reference.
6. Pricing & Payment
DaNCINGšBaND inclusive of the handcrafted box set and training course. If a session or program is postponed or cancelled by the organizer, an alternative date or full refund will be offered. Confirmed orders will be honoured at the agreed price.
7. Delivery & Returns
Each set is handmade and may vary slightly in colour or finish; these variations are part of the artworkās authenticity.
Please allow 5 weeks for production and delivery including all arragemenst for the teacher traning.
Because of the productās nature and health considerations, returns and refunds are not accepted except for manufacturing defects or damage in transit.
Report any damage within 7 days of delivery to margazaol@gmail.com with photos and order details.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
DaNCINGšBaND is provided āas isā, as an artistic and educational practice.While great care is taken in its design and facilitation, Margarita Zafrila Olayo, and Margarita Zafrilla Olayo Studio, makes no warranties, express or implied, about results, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Participants and facilitators engage with the material at their own discretion and responsibility.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and Margarita Zafrila Olayo, and Margarita Zafrilla Olayo Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the product, participation in sessions, or facilitation of the practice.
Facilitators and users assume responsibility for maintaining safe and ethical practice conditions.
10. Privacy & Data
Your information is used only for order processing, communication, and scheduling the training session.
Data will not be sold or shared.
You may request removal of your data at any time by contacting margazaol@gmail.com.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.

These Terms and Conditions (āTermsā) govern the purchase and participation in DaNCINGšBaND, a project by Margarita Zafrilla Olayo / Margarita Zafrilla Olayo Studio (āthe Organizerā, āweā, āourā). By purchasing a DaNCINGšBaND artwork or enrolling in the training program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Overview
DaNCINGšBaND consists of:

An artwork box containing thirteen (13) elastic bands made of natural rubber latex.

A training program that includes online and/or in-person sessions, guided research methods, and facilitated group practices leading towards certification as a DaNCINGšBaND Practitioner.
2. Health, Safety, and Material Use
The materials used in DaNCINGšBaND include natural rubber latex, an organic substance derived from rubber trees.

Participants and purchasers must be aware that latex may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

By engaging with the artwork or training, you confirm that you do not have a known latex allergy or that you take full responsibility for managing any such condition.

The Organizer is not liable for allergic reactions or health issues resulting from contact with latex materials.

Participants agree to handle all materials with care and to follow the facilitatorās guidance on safe use.
3. Participation and Responsibility

The DaNCINGšBaND training involves movement-based, somatic, and embodied practices. Participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.

You are responsible for assessing your physical readiness and for disclosing any medical conditions, injuries, or sensitivities that may affect your participation.

The Organizer is not responsible for injuries or adverse health effects sustained during or after the training unless caused by proven negligence.
4. Certification and Use of the Practice

Completion of the training program may lead to recognition as a DaNCINGšBaND Practitioner.

Certification does not grant ownership of the DaNCINGšBaND trademark, intellectual property, or brand identity.

Practitioners agree to use the methods and practices with integrity, respecting the ethos of care, awareness, and relational sensitivity at the core of DaNCINGšBaND.

The training, exercises, and research frameworks are provided for educational and artistic purposes only and must not be reproduced, taught, or commercialized without prior written consent from the Organizer.
5. Intellectual Property
All DaNCINGšBaND contentāincluding but not limited to movement scores, teaching methods, artworks, images, texts, and recordingsāis the intellectual property of Margarita Zafrilla Olayo / The Flaoting Book Ltd.

Participants and purchasers may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly share these materials without written permission.

The DaNCINGšBaND name, symbol, and visual identity are protected and may not be used without authorization.
6. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellations

Payment for the artwork and training program must be made in full prior to delivery or participation.

Refunds are available up to 14 days after purchase of the artwork (if unopened and unused) and up to 14 days before the start of the training program.

In case of cancellation by the Organizer, participants will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.

Shipping costs for artwork returns are the responsibility of the buyer.
7. Documentation and Privacy

Some sessions or events may be recorded for documentation, research, or educational purposes.

By participating, you consent to being recorded unless you explicitly opt out in writing.

Personal information (such as contact and health details) is handled in accordance with data protection regulations (GDPR) and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
8. Limitation of Liability

The Organizer shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation or use of the DaNCINGšBaND materials, except where caused by proven negligence.

Use of the artwork and participation in the training are entirely at your own risk.
9. Governing Law
